Handbook Of Experimental Stomatology: Routledge Revivals
About the Book
The Handbook of Experimental Stomatology, originally published in 1956, compiles the knowledge on the microscopic anatomy of the oral cavity, mucosal membranes, periosteum, bone, periodontal tissues and salivary glands at a time when improvements in dental techniques demanded a parallel development of a theoretical basis in the dental sciences.
Structured in sixteen chapters, the book provides a comprehensive review of the histological and embryological features of the oral cavity, as well as the anatomy of the teeth, jaws, and salivary glands. The authors, acknowledged experts in their fields, have integrated experimental and clinical data and provided a wealth of illustrations that complement the text.
The Handbook of Experimental Stomatology is an essential resource for researchers, dental clinicians, and students of dentistry and stomatology. It is also of interest to anatomists, embryologists, and pathologists.
